really liked it
bookshelves: own-it, sci-fi
Recommended for: survivors

World War Z was an extremely hard, but rewarding read. I lost my entire family and not a few friends to the Zombie War. If not for the fortune of a well timed vacation and the use of a stolen Segway, I expect I wouldn't be here either. We all know what happened in San Diego.

The stories in this book are our stories. By choosing to seek out witnesses from all over the world, Brooks reminds us of our common humanity. Only the zombies did a better job of that.

This is a book we all need to read.
