Veronica Bailey I'll definitely be curious to hear your thoughts on this book. Where I Am Legend (the story itself, not the collection) was really made incredible by the last few pages, this book I found to be the opposite. I really loved it, right up until the end.

Rose Be interested to see your review of this one. I liked the movie better which is unheard of.

Stephen I loved this book, and the movie scared me sleepless.

Greg Hello Mr Wheaton. I hope this finds you well. I honestly can't remember if i have read this. I am pretty sure i have, as it was soon after i read THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE by Shirley Jackson. It is interesting when you think of one classic in a given field, how quickly your mind can come up with others, and how each may have inspired the others. The ultimate supernatural story - i would give that to THE SHINING by Stephen King. Of course Shirley Jackson et al is scary from an intellectual point of view. The award of Best. Stephen. King. Book. Ever. Goes to CHRISTINE. That one still rocks my boat, even after all this time. That ending was like an undead, horrific and yet beautiful in a horrific sense, Shakespearian Tragedy.
