really liked it
bookshelves: historical-mystery, classical-era

I was sad to see Ruso leave Britain for his home province in this one but it was fun to see life in a more 'civilized' area through Tilla's eyes. I figured out who dun it well before the end but the journey was still worth it. This series, the Falco books and Caroline Lawrence's Roman Mysteries (too good to be read just by kids!) are my favorite three Roman mystery series.
