An interesting dip into societal expectations of women in the past. Tries too hard to be snarky and funny and keeps its review superficial and pop culture, glossing over recent advice to women on things like HRT, and ignoring the experience of women outside the middle class.
Light reading for intro-feminists. Analysis not sophisticated enough for advanced studies.
