There is so much I liked about this book, it was very creative with great imagery and escapism and funny characters who were fantastical yet realistic... Definitely an enjoying read.
Yet, only a three star rating. You're probably thinking, hey what gives? Glowing reviews deserve more than three stars huh? This book started with such wonder and possibility, especially with the whole "dangerous baby" and prophetic tv show and wall mural and then throughout the book it set up this brilliant and somewhat subtle plan of the Belgian Prankster but somewhere along the way it fell flat for me. All these plots and puzzles and curiosities came to a rather disappointing climax and then just ended. I did like the book for the most part, but based on the rest of the book, I just expected a more creative ending which would have surprising plot connections between all the points that he had set up throughout the book.
