Why is this book out of print?!! It's such a great story - like a cross between The Goose Girl, Rebecca, and the Scarlet Pimpernel (kind-of). I love the way he narrates - loved the characters and surprises. It has mystery, romance, suspense. I think I'll start passing it around to my friends if they promise not to lose it. Thanks to my sister for discovering it!!

Sheba I heartily agree - why is it out of print. I am finding it difficult getting hold of her other books and only have "Moonrakers Bride" and "Merlins Keep".

I first read this when I was about 10 years old (more than 30 years ago) and have read it countless times since then. Even though I moved on to "more refined" literature this book is very special to me and I would not even consider lending it to anyone. I am so pleases to see how many people have enjoyed it as much as I have.
