really liked it

Very, very good...I recommend this book to people who are interested in other cultures, why they live the way they live, and the treatment of women. I felt like I was there in the dust of Kabul, inside a burka. I wanted to reach into the pages and pull Leila out and set her free. This book is a heart-breaking description of a family and how they live out an inconsistent culture shaped by their religion, their past and cruelty of the Taliban. 4.5 stars.
