Starry Night is the story of Carrie Slayton, Society Reporter for a prestigious Chicago reporter and Finn Dalton, a rugged Alaskan survivalist turned author whose recent bestseller has made him the hottest interview in town. Craving to get out of writing about Chicago's who's who, Carrie's boss offers her any assignment she likes if she can score an interview with Finn. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, right? Wrong. (Un)fortunately for Carrie, the easiest part is the search for Finn because once she gets to know him, everything changes and they learn together about important lessons of love and compromise.

Starry Night has all the elements needed in a successful Christmas romance. Two independent, but unfulfilled characters longing for more and finding it in one another at Christmas time. Ok, so I'm an easy sell for Christmas books, but it really was a good book and I would definitely recommend it for a little light Christmas vacation reading to get you in the spirit!
