really liked it

An unlikely graphic novel for me to pick up and not earth-shattering, but very fun. A romp set in contemporary Cairo. Cast includes a stranded Israeli female soldier, a post-college-age nice and somewhat clueless Lebanese-American guy, a post-college-age somewhat savvier do-gooder chick, an Egyptian street hustler, his sister (a smart dancer who can't find other work), her boyfriend (a censored reporter), a jinn, an evil criminal with mystical underworld-derived powers, all in one very big misadventure of several braided misadventures. If you could use a few hours of mindless and fun and even funny entertainment, this will work better than most "entertaining" movies. The ending is a bit too pat.
