What a let down! The premise was interesting: doctor delivers his own twins, one has Down's Syndrome and he tells his nurse to take the baby to a home and leave it there. The home was gross and the nurse couldn't bring herself to leave the baby. So she keeps the baby and raises it as her own.

I guess the briefest way to describe my thoughts and feelings about this book is to say that I only kept reading it because I was waiting for something really exciting or emotionally overwhelming to happen. It didn't. Blah. What a waste of time!
