really liked it

This book, along with the first of the series, is at least partially written by an author other then Dean Koontz. I almost put the first book down after the first 25 pages because of how many metaphors, similes and other tricks of speech the author insisted on using. Enough to make the book a poor read. But page by page, he slowly dropped the constant usage and by the time I finished the second book, I was very glad I persevered. All in all, a very fun twist of the tale of Frankenstein. More of a continuation you learn. I recommend this book to anyone who can overlook some poor writing for a great story.
