really liked it

This was a biologist's wet dream (pun intended). I really liked the story, but it was a bit difficult at times to get through. The author literally lists hundereds of sea animals and plants, giving the reader all of the latin listings of species, sub-speices, genre, family, and even physical differences that help to catorgorize each item on the list; and there is at least one list per chapter.

Besides that, the characters were intriguing, especially the mysterious Captain Nemo. The settings were vivid and beautiful. The concepts original and indepth. I'm glad I forced my way through the unending lists to get at the rich tresure of liturature entertwined.
