really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary-womens-fiction, erotica, paranormal, romance, vampires

Wasn't sure what to expect, as I've never been a fan of rednecks, but this was a charming, FUNNY little story. Went on a little long in the first chapter, and I thought the scene where Amber's explaining to the cat as they drove along was a little too expository, but once our gal discovers the vampire in her bathtub, things start moving along nicely. I LOVED that her thought, as a writer, was about the scoop, not about the danger to herself, and the fact that Rusty Nipple won't BEHAVE as a proper vampire just made it too fun reading. Highly recommend it.
