Brilliant writing, amazing characters (all with fantastic names!), incredible sense of time and place. I loved this book. My copy is now filled with underlined passages and very random marginalia.

(Also...I highly recommend taking a look at the discussion questions by the author -- fantastic!)

And before we know it, the deck has been played out and the decisions we have just made will shape our lives for decades to come.”
