really liked it
bookshelves: 2009-new-reads

This was decent, but it felt too much like a genre piece to stand out much. Miri has older twin brothers and younger twin sisters, and feels somewhat left out of her family because she is the only one who isn't paired up. When her family moves into an old house, she travels back in time and meets another little girl who lived in the house in the 1930s. It reminded me of all those Scholastic book club books about time travel -- they're entertaining enough while you're reading them, and then after you finish they all blend together.

Grade: B-
Recommended: This is probably perfect for girls in that age window of 8 - 10 who love time traveling books.
