it was amazing

This book was absolutely lovely, and although I feared throughout the whole thing that it would fall short of brilliance in the end, it did not. I have to admit the book left me wanting to know much, much more, but the story itself was not meant to rip open the foundations of society. It was a sweet, honest look at relationships throughout childhood and adolescence, and the fact that the relationships were occurring within an environment reminiscent of The Hand Maid's Tale, was a minor triviality to the characters themselves. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
