Old TT review:

Just finished the most recent Mary Balogh, Simply Magic. The latest in the series of Simply books, it tells the story of yet another of the teachers at Miss Martin's school for girls in Bath who just happens to go and catch herself a titled husband. It's as likeable as the others in the series. The slight difference is the beta hero (he rather reminded me of Gerard from one of her early Regencies, The Precious Jewel) -- he put off a lot of the Amazon commenters, but I think the whole plot worked. The story takes place at the same time as Simply Love, the previous book in the series, so it is interesting to see those events from afar. Of course this means a cast of thousands from this series, most if not all of the Bedwyns from the Slightly series, and even Lauren and Kit from A Summer to Remember.

Fluff, but well-done fluff.
