Dave Smith Terry Pratchett takes his sideways logic and quirky way of applying philosophy and science to new material in this book. The fact that it has no plot, is just a collection of amusing observations about cats makes it more about Terry's thinking than most other of his works. This has no relationship with his other writings, but neither has Good Omens, and the fact is irrelevant. Only You Can Save Mankind, Truckers and even The Colour of Magic were stand-alone works before their sequels followed!
