really liked it
bookshelves: history, biography

Full of anguish, yet unbelievably simple and stark. Weisel sounds still shell-shocked as he relates his survival of horror after horror in Auschwitz and Buchenwald, and how he moved in and out of faith in the God who allowed it all to happen.
