It's politically interesting to consider why the museum commemorating the murder of JFK wd choose this particular film to turn into a flip-book. It's not surprising that they wdn't choose the Zapruder film since it shows JFK's brains being blown out. That wd be touchy indeed as something to sell in their gift shop. SO, instead, they present JFK & Jackie Kennedy 'alive' & smiling at the crowds - in sumptuous color. They freeze the moments 90 seconds before the assassination - showing us President Kennedy alive for 'all time' - as if this were some sort of Sci-Fi novel where the future of grim fascist killings of the 2 Kennedy brothers, Martin Luther King Jr, & Malcolm X (to name the best-known) never arrive - a more hopeful time when people working for civil rights aren't blown away.
