Told from the point of view of young Johnny, who was apprenticed to a silversmith as a young boy. He shows great promise as an artisan until an accident cripples him. To survive, he finds room and board with a printer, in exchange for being a messenger to the Sons of Liberty. He is right in the middle of the mix of the brewing revolution.
