really liked it

This is a wonderfully inspirational book, which delves into the reasons why you might want to take off and go "vagabonding" throughout the world. It offers tips about how to make that a reality, mainly in the form of links to other resources (and it is accompanied by an actively maintained website that keeps those links fresh). This isn't really a how-to book, although it contains many suggestions that will aid in a successful, rewarding trip; it's more about the why-to. The liberal sprinkling of quotes and blurbs about famous vagabonders really enhanced my enjoyment of the book. And interestingly, it comes around to conclude that vagabonding, inspired by the desire to travel and learn and experience, can really be achieved even without leaving home. Fundamentally, it's about attitude and your approach to your environment -- and yourself.
