it was amazing
bookshelves: top-10-favorite-fiction, scifi-fantasy

One of the great modern novels. Lowery paints a vivid picture of a possible future that seems on the surface to be utopian, but is in fact very dystopian.

The book takes a hard look at the fact that morality (despite what people may choose to believe) is not something culture can just dictate at whim, but is instead an internal constant that can be lost or rediscovered.

Everyone should read this book at least once.
