This book is shuh-ort. Like, long-magazine-article short. For that reason alone you should read it. It was sweet, as you'd expect it to be. What most appealed to me was his tone toward his wife's death. He never said he believed in an after-life, or that he'd see his wife again, but his whole attitude toward her death had that feeling. Like, he treasured the times they had together, and would miss her deeply, but that it wasn't an absolute loss. Maybe I was just interperting his words through the lens of my own beliefs, but whatevbdser it was, this was a happy book, not depressing like you might expect.
