it was amazing

Wow. Wow. Wow. The first few chapters of this book reminded me so much of another one, but I just couldn’t place it. I really thought I had read this before. Though the setup is similar (mysterious boy moves in next door, girl is fiercely attracted to him, but is dating a really nice guy, then weird paranormal things start happening, etc.), the delivery was very different from the other book. Walters can weave a story. Wow. The pages practically sizzled whenever Torin made an appearance. I could not put this book down and couldn’t tell if I was addicted to the story, which ended up being very unique, or if I was addicted to Torin and the passion he and Raine shared. I still don’t know which it is.

I will definitely be purchasing this book and I have a feeling it will not stay checked in for long. But that ending. Oh, that horrid jaw-dropping, leave me hanging ragged for the second book ending. That could be considered cruel and unusual punishment. I truly hope and pray Ms. Walters allows the second book to be posted on Netgalley because I don’t think I can wait a year for it. It will eat me up inside.

*That* is what I want in every book I read.

I received this ARC from Netgalley.com.
