it was amazing
bookshelves: adult, young-adult, graphic-novel
Read in June, 2009

This jumped at me from one of our sorting shelves at the library, and I had to put down my coffee to read the whole book right there and then. A homeless man tells his story of living in the subway tunnels, tells it beautifully and with dignity and gives insight into the world which most of us never see.
"We are scavengers
of stories.
We seek
hidden messages
of hope and find them."
