The hero is a second son who enjoys business and trade. The heroine is the daughter of a second son who's just returned to England from India upon inheriting a title. Dad was in trade, and the daughter enjoys it too. The hero meets her at a party, brags about a trade he's about to make, and discovers the next day that she's sneaked in and made the trade ahead of him. He needs those silks, because he already has markets for them. She wants a higher price for them than he wants to pay. She infuriates him--and attracts him too. And she's attracted to him in return. And there's maybe more going on that a sharp business deal... It's a well-written, nicely done historical romance. I enjoyed it a lot.
