did not like it

Although the author is trying, he simply doesn't know how to plot. The book is a loose, pointless, and ultimately irritating ramble. Its attempt to be angsty and profound are based on an unusually silly plot device, namely a mysterious disease the author doesn't care enough about to explain properly.
