I loved the first book in this series, but this one not as much. The premise is the same - Janie gets pulled into the dreams of others who are sleeping nearby and she and Cabel are using their skills to work undercover for the local police. The crime involved here is what I found off-putting, because it involved a teacher preying on his female students. Janie also continues to learn about her skills and what her future holds for her if she continues to use them. Plus, her relationship with Cabel moves to the next step. While this book is marketed as young adult, I wouldn't really recommend it for young readers due to the subject matter, language, and some underage drinking.
