Speaking as someone who hasn't liked Superman for the longest time, this book kicked ass. It made me care about Superman and Clark Kent as characters, had some great artwork and some really strong scenes between almost all of the characters. It's sad that they retconned this origin story out of continuity, but even as a standalone it's still head and shoulders above many other Superman titles.
