Lewis Carroll is one kooky mo-fo!! I read this for one of my book challenges, the task was to read the first unread book that popped up in the goodreads trivia quiz. When this little ditty popped up I was about to skip it, thinking I'd surely read it. Then I realized, horrors or horrors, I'd somehow missed out on this classic.

I think Carroll was probably a little strange and possibly on something when he wrote...but who am I to judge. I thought this was fun to listen to as an audiobook because there is SO MUCH wordplay and little nuances that I might not have caught trying to speed through the book. On the same token though, I bet there are things that I would have caught reading it that I didn't in the audio, so I guess I'm going to have read it again someday.

This also made me really excited for the new Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie next spring!
