This is a great book by a new favorite author. This read aloud engaged a class that started of extremely disorganized. Kids were eager to see what happened when we pushed the dot. I read this aloud to kinders, but also third graders enjoyed it and even some middle schoolers picked it up. This book would make a fun example for a writing class, where kids could write their own directions and then explain or show what will happen. A recommendation, spend time writing a few books as a class before sending kids off on their own.
