** spoiler alert ** Nora has been a genious ever since she was little. She has hidden her smarts from everyone up untill now. She got all D's and one C on her fifth grade midterm report card. She wasn't mad; she did this on purpose. She tells the librarian and her best friend Stephen about why she got the bad grades. Then she and Stephen make a plan for Nora to act all smart during the day and to get zeroes on 3 test and quizzes the next day. They plan on getting lots of kids to join, bu tit might not go as planned. Then, Nora doesn't remember to tell Stephen how she thinks they shouldn't finish their plan. So when she stays home from school the next day because she is "sick", the principal calls and she (Nora) and her mom have to go to the school to have a meeting with the principal and some other people to. Then, Nora decides that she doesnt want to be in gifted and she wants to stay at her current school and try to be normal. And through it all, Stephan stays her friend and backs her up like a good friend does. Also the librarian keeps them from getting suspended.
