i didn't expect i would continue reading this series. but, seemingly, i couldn't resist. this volume, except for the egregious first chapter, capitalizes on the promise of the first volume. the plot is cohesive and doesn't veer into the shock factor of the the second volume - sex, drugs, violence - even as these topics are omnipresent. we finally get to see Dash evolve as a character and see that everything is not so black-and-white as we inferred. The coloring of the illustrations is wicked. OK, i'm interested in this series again.
