Trust Me (The Last Stand, #1)
May 18, 2009
When the man who tried to rape her is released from jail early, Skye knows he will come after her again and must prepare to defend herself. Even after he was convicted, many people believed that a successful upstanding family man would not rape and murder, and believed his claim that Skye brought him home for sex and then had a drug trip and attacked him. I liked that Skye was a strong person and defended herself and others, despite pressure from those around her to not do so. I wasn't very moved by the romance element of the novel, though.
