** spoiler alert ** There's really never much to say about a Mary Higgins Clark book since readers pretty much know what to expect from them when they read her work. I will say, though, that I thought the main character marrying her former co-worker in the end was incredibly random and abrupt, especially since only once or twice throughout the rest of the book did the main character fleetingly mention that she had feelings for him, although there was no mention of him returning those feelings. (See how I can only refer to her as "main character"? Because MHC's characters are all basically the same, I can't even distinguish one from another and nothing about any of them really stands out in my mind as being worth remembering).
