I am NOT a James Patterson fan, but this book was chosen for our book club to read. It is the true story of a boy who is diagnosed with Turrets Syndrome, and was written with James Patterson by the boy's father. It was written in the voice of the actual patient, which is disclosed in the beginning, but sometimes this reminder was irritating. There are parts of the story where the boy goes on and on about how wonderful his parents are, which I am sure is true, but got to be a little self-aggrandizing. On the positive side, it was an interesting look at Turrets and it read quickly and easily.
