it was amazing
bookshelves: adult-nonfiction, history

The authors' research on this was extensive. They begin with the building of the towers, and point out the shortcuts taken in the construction, then lead the reader through the 102 minutes in which the occupants had to evacuate. It reads like a novel, and only at the end do you find out who made it and who didn't. The selflessness and courage shown by all was more than inspiring. One of the survivors said that this book was the best account of what truly happened inside the towers that day.
