Shallow, manic, and simplistic. I realize a lot of research probably went into the whole Africa plot, but there was too much of everything to make any of it feel real and heartfelt. Cross is also getting to be quite a slut and possibly becoming a more annoying hero than before. You know what? Just leave the case to someone else FOR ONCE and focus on your family instead of leaving them to be raised by your grandmother. Patterson is stretching this character out too long with no interesting updates.
