I found this book to be interesting...a bit confusing at first because of the lack of information on the main character's history. This is especially true because his history impacts his current life and future so very much. At the end, when the past is revealed, the story makes complete sense and all the loose ends come together...which after finishing the book gave the book a little something different. The main character was a bit annoying at times...his personality had him getting very angry over tiny things sometimes and being overly passive at others. The subtle (and not so) gender slander towards women over emotions and expectations of men taking care of them was annoying and offensive. For me, it detracted from the story and actually turned me off from reading the book a few times. The romantic scenes were written in an over-the-top with slightly creepy fruit references...weird for sure! In all, I liked it, didn't love it but didn't hate it either.
