This is a story about a girl who finds herself "unchosen" in a world where being selected for a life work means everything. As events unfold, her lack of status proves to be a blessing in disguise, and she discovers gifts and strengths that allow her to play a role that she is uniquely qualified for. It is well-written, has some unexpected twists, and an affirming message for real life.
