really liked it
bookshelves: 2009, audio, ya

Despite being built on the usual John Green foundation of the outsider-geeky-but-not-hopeless boy who is obsessed with the way-cooler-but-tragically-troubled girl, it's a winner. The characters tackle identity issues with in interesting, insightful style, especially our projections of identities on others. The best ever description of "living" space during a road trip.
