Runes (Runes, #1)

Well I am going to start out by saying that I truly loved the novel Runes by Ednah Walters. I think this maybe one of my favorite books ever. I was so excited when I found out that Ednah was going to be writing a new series, that I had to get my hands on a copy, and I am so happy that I did. Ednah does not disappoint in Runes. Ednah was able to make a story that you wish you were a part of. Not only does Ednah draw you into the story but she keeps you guessing about what to expect next. Runes has an original story line and is faced paced, I found myself neglecting certain things, like cleaning my house and sleeping so I could keep reading.
The characters are awesome. Ednah was able to make such exceptional characters that I found myself wanting to reach into the story and pull them out with me. Raine is not only smart, but she is also caring and brave. Raine is the perfect character because I think that anyone could see some of themselves in her character. Torin is not your typical bad boy, he is also extremely loyal and protective of Raine and did I not mention very caring. I also enjoyed the supporting characters of Eirik and Cora, They were always there for Raine to lean on when she needed help, and that is what great friends do.
If you have not had a chance to get a Copy of Runes yet, I recommend that you do so as soon as possible. If you want a story that will suck you up and keep you entertained until the very end then Runes is the book for you. I am going to be patiently waiting for book two, so I can see what happens next.
