it was amazing
bookshelves: fairies, magic, paranormal, urban-fantasy, fantasy, favorites, ireland

I have to say that when I started this series I really didn't like the heroine Mac very much. I liked that she was blond and bubbly but her personality, save for her drive to find her sister's killer, seemed vapid to me. But the past two books have made me change my mind and she's growing on me.
So Mac is still living with Barron in his bookstore and she's still trying to find the evil book linked to her sister's murder. The fairie prince plays a larger role in this book as he helps Mac with a few things while Barron is MIA or she's too pissed at him to ask for his help. Barron while he is around starts to teach Mac how to resist Voice as the Lord Master tries to lure Mac into his trap. There's a lot of fighting in this book as it seems like everyone and their mother is trying to either get something from Mac or kill her. Including Vlane and Barron. Oh, and a HUUUUUUGE cliffhanger at the end. HUGE. It will be interesting reading the next book.
