I. Love. This. Book. This is the foundation I've been looking for: a combination of what I know about science with what I feel about the Earth. She lays the groundwork for a new kind of Paganism that centers us in All That Is and in ourselves. I'm inspired to play with her ideas and scripts to make it truly my own. If not for the dense academic language in the first half (it did start as her Ph.D. dissertation, after all), this might be my perfect book.

Glenys Livingstone Hi Eli
thanks for your review. I'm glad you like my book so much. I wanted to say that I am planning to write a new edition of PaGaian Cosmology leaving out a lot of the academic stuff. There was/is a purpose to it: that is, I wanted to make it possible for others to use the book credibly for academic purpose. It is now time to broaden its appeal ... I'm getting to it! :)
I posted news of your review here (page 2) http://pagaian.org/forum/viewtopic.ph...

Oh and I don't know if you know that I update the ritual scripts in Chapter 7 on-line all the time ... keep them current (to what we are doing at my Place) pretty much. In that sense the book is live.

Bart Everson Funny, it was the "dense academic language" that I found most compelling. Maybe that's what I get for working at a university!
