I feel a bit let down by this book because the plot had so much potential, but I think it could have been executed better. As much as I love boy POV's, Brody's felt awkward in that way a poor actor portrays your favorite character in a book-movie adaptation. Hayley had more redeemable qualities, but at times felt too childish for being an 18 year old. There was just so much cheese that it left me as the reader feeling uncomfortable watching their relationship develop.

All of that being said, I felt compelled to keep reading and did so in one sitting so it wasn't terrible, it just didn't live up to my expectations unfortunately. Don't let my review deter you from reading it, though. Perhaps I'm being too hard on it.
