it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, pre-2005, favorites

Looking back, there are probably some problematic aspects of this book, but I remember that when I first read it as an undergrad, it blew me away. I loved the portrayal of individual spirituality, and love between women. I'm sure those things would still speak to me upon re-reading, too.
