A fantasy novel with suitably dramatic themes, with a twist. A young witch seeks to avenge the death of her mentor; accompanied by the familiar that she inherited, a demonic duck; an enchanted broom; and a troll. As the cover blurb says, 'a tale of vengeance, true love & cannabilism.' Yeah, she's under a curse. And she has no idea who killed her mentor. Other than that, everything's just peachy. I'd call this a subtly humorous book for lovers of fantasy novels.
