really liked it

I have read Terry Pratchett before and thoroughly enjoyed his work. But I have to agree with what others before me have said, his work got better with time. As a completionist, I always felt weird jumping into the middle of his work, even knowing that most of his books were meant to be read in whatever order. So reading this book definitely satisfied that inner part of me that likes to start things at the beginning :) That being said, I would not call this book his best work. It was a lot weirder than his other books that I've read (and that's saying something), and sometimes I felt like I was missing something (which I probably was). I have to say, a lot of the time, I kept reading just to see what was going to happen to the Luggage ;P In fact, I will probably read the NEXT book, just to see if the Luggage shows up again! And also to see if Rincewind ever gives in and says The Spell. And if Death ever manages to claim him. Okay, there are several reasons I might pick up the next book, but MOSTLY for the Luggage ;P
In short, if you've read Pratchett's work, I would suggest this book to you, but if you're just starting out... go read something with the witches instead. Wyrd Sisters was a good one ;)
