Set 10 years after Witches Brew, A Princess of Landover follows Mistaya Holiday as she tries to figure out what she is going to do with herself. When she is suspended from boarding school for misbehaving, she heads home to Landover, determined to have her own way; the adults in her life disagree, so she runs away, and finds herself in danger.

Not my favorite of the series - Mistaya is a typical teenager - headstrong, a little whiny, and too stubborn for her own good. The entire conflict that sets her on her way is too slight, just a contrivance to get her into the trouble. Yes, she saves the day, but not before getting herself into sticky situations in the first place.
